How to succeed in business for 2018

When it comes down to it, nothing trumps execution.

I remember when I was younger the sudden trend of “going paperless” and how it took the world by storm. Adjusting to the times was no doubt a factor that helped a business gain traction; all of a sudden, every important document you owned was saved on your computer, which made life so much easier, as well as provided a service to the environment. It was safe to say that if you didn't go paperless, you were risking your business falling apart and being viewed as outdated.

With 2018 beginning and the majority of the world running on computers, one can’t help but wonder what is the newest trend that will help businesses get to that next level and ahead of the competition?

In order to answer that question, we must first explore YouTube. The online, video-sharing platform, YouTube’s importance stems from its status as one of the first social media channels which allowed people to execute their own form of personal marketing. This meant businesses and private individuals have the sudden opportunity to “be discovered” through their own unique content. Musicians such as Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Bieber can certainly attest to this.

Personal Branding:

The launching of countless additional social media channels have quickly risen in the past decade, most notably Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In order to make your business accessible, successful, and personable, you must have a strong online presence. Social media has enabled the public to follow and even be in touch with high-society individuals that they would never have otherwise had access to.

For example: one of the best at marketing his business, personality, and overall existence is President Donald J. Trump. Whether you are a fan of his or not, there can be no doubt that Trump is one of the masters of getting his point across, no matter how controversial. This form of communication allows Trump to interact with his fans and foes alike, and this makes him a marketing genius.

Among some of the biggest social media moguls in business and marketing today are Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Tai Lopez, all of whom are master entrepreneurs and have a strong technique in getting their presence known online. Their approach has won over so many people, that Vaynerchuk and Cardone have authored and published books on how to maximize your success. Their works are highly recommended for entrepreneurs looking to blast past their competition. Both of these books serve as examples of what it takes to enter into the mindset of a successful person no matter what it is you desire to do in life.
